Search Tips
What to plant?
The more boxes you tick, the more you narrow down your search (in other words the shorter your list of plants will be).
For example: Look at the area and note the following - soil type, time in direct sun, does it catch the wind, how tall and wide should it grow to maximum, would you like it to have flowers (and what colour), what area in the country are you in.
What plant have I got?
There's a plant in your garden but you have no idea what it's called?
Take note of anything you can see or smell about the plant - the size, colour and shape of the leaf, flower or fruit (or all of these), how tall is it (depends on how long it's been there of course), is it fragrant, does it keep it's leaves during winter, when does it flower and anything else that might help to identify it.
Enter these criteria into the search boxes and do the search - if your plant is not listed then contact our plant expert who will do his best to find the answer for you. Please send a picture!

Moon planting
Different plants grow better when they are planted during different phases of the moon.
Each of these phases has an influence on the way different vegetation grows on the earth through the rising and falling of the moisture in the ground and in the plants.
